For 40 years and counting, Lucy’s has been family owned, and we’ve always worked to give our customers the freshest, fastest, most family friendly experience we can. It started with a Taiwanese woman named Lucy and her American dream: to run a restaurant serving food from her own recipes. In 1980, Lucy, her husband Carl, and their two young boys opened the first Lucy’s Chinese Food, and it soon became known for award-winning cashew chicken and Lucy’s own spunky personality. Her sons carry on that same passion today across three southwest Missouri locations.
