What makes Lucy’s special? For 45 years and counting, Lucy’s has been family owned. We have always worked hard to give our customers the freshest, fastest, and most family friendly experience they can have when they come to dine with us.

It all started with a Taiwanese woman and her American dream: to own and run a restaurant where she could serve food she created from her own recipes. So in 1980, Lucy, her husband Carl, and their two young boys started the first Lucy’s Chinese Food. Lucy’s soon became well known for its award-winning cashew chicken and its spunky 4’11” owner with her award-winning smile and personality. In 1996, at the age of 59, Lucy passed away. Her sons took over the family business along with their mom’s passion for food, and they have carried her recipes and her standards forward ever since.

Known for Cashew Chicken

Lucy’s built its name on Springfield-style cashew chicken, and it is still what people drive across town for. Every chicken dish is made with all white meat, and the menu has grown over the years to include stir fry, lo mein, fried rice, combo dinners, and more, all made fresh and fast. That food keeps earning recognition around the Ozarks, with recent “Best of” wins and runner up finishes for cashew chicken, Chinese food, and Asian food across southwest Missouri. Three Convenient Locations

Lucy’s has three locations to serve you, each open 11 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Whichever one is closest, you will get the same recipes and the same welcome. Order online from Springfield, Ozark, or Rogersville.
