What makes Lucy’s special? For 40 years and counting, Lucy’s has been family owned. We have always worked hard to provide our customers the freshest, fastest, and most family friendly experience they can have when they come dine with us.

So what’s Lucy’s Story? It all started with a Taiwanese woman and her “American Dream” to own and run a restaurant where she could serve food she created from her own recipes. So in 1980, Lucy, her husband (Carl), and their 2 young boys started the 1st Lucy’s Chinese Food. Lucy’s soon became well known for their “Award Winning” Cashew Chicken and spunky 4’11” tall owner and her “Award Winning” smile and personality. In 1996 at the age of 59, Lucy died. Her sons took over the family business and their moms passion for food and have expanded with a total of 3 locations in SW Missouri… with more on the way!
